Tools and actions for communities identified as Increase Access to Single Family Neighborhoods are focused on expanding pathways into these areas for people who currently cannot afford to live or work there.
These communities are considered to have higher access to opportunity and lower displacement risk.
Shared Characteristics
Communities have access to non-rail transit. They have moderate capacity for growth, especially infill and moderate density housing. Most residents are homeowners in detached single-family (SF) homes.
