Tools and actions for communities identified as Improve Access & Housing Choices are focused on increasing housing opportunity while preserving affordability, and expanding housing access and opportunities for current and future residents.
These communities are considered to have lower access to opportunity and moderate displacement risk.
Shared Characteristics
Communities offer limited transit access for residents both now and in the future. Neighborhoods or centers have weak to emerging real estate markets, as well as less dense development. Housing is split between renters and homeowners.
