Come join us in Tacoma! PSRC is hosting an open house on the newly released draft of VISION 2050 on Wednesday, August 7.
VISION 2050 will be the region’s plan to guide growth, enhance quality of life, and support a robust local economy.
We want to hear from you! Drop in, have a cookie, and speak with planners about your ideas to create a livable region for everyone in the decades to come.
By 2050, Pierce County will be better connected to the region. The Hilltop Tacoma Link Extension is expected to open in 2022, and by 2030, light rail service will be continuous from Tacoma Dome to Lynnwood.
Meanwhile, planning for Bus Rapid Transit improvements along Pacific Avenue is already underway. VISION 2050 focuses much of the region’s expected growth near these current and future high-capacity transit options. Give your input as we plan for a more connected and growing region!
