PSRC Seeking Public Comment on Water Taxi Project

The Puget Sound Regional Council is encouraging people to comment on one project new to the Regional Transportation Improvement Program.  The public comment period will run from February 5 to March 4, 2024. PSRC's Executive Board is scheduled to approve this project on March 28.

King County Metro is recommended to receive a total of $4,805,000 in PSRC funds for one project. The funds will be used to replace the gangway and related facility utility connections that provide access to King County Metro's floating water taxi maintenance facility.

The funding is available due to a redistribution of Federal Transit Administration funds from another project.  More information may be found in PSRC’s Transportation Policy Board February meeting agenda packet at: https://www.psrc.org/board/transportation-policy-board.
