The draft Public Participation Plan has an enhanced focus on equity, updated goals, desired outcomes, guiding principles, as well as new techniques and tools for engagement.

How to make a comment:

The federal government requires Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPO) to develop Public Participation Plans. They are developed to establish consistent procedures to ensure people have reasonable opportunities to be involved in the regional planning process.

PSRC's first Public Participation Plan was developed in 1993 and was last updated in 2018. PSRC worked with its Equity Advisory Committee to produce the new draft plan.
