Introduction

The current version of EPA’s vehicle emission modeling software is MOBILE 6.2. This model must be used for all regional and project-level analyses. In addition, the screening model CAL3QHC is used to perform project-level analyses for carbon monoxide.

Information for Project-Level Analysis

MOBILE 6.2 emission factor files should be obtained from PSRC to ensure consistency with the regional analysis and that the most current settings are used. These settings include vehicle registrations and data based on the Emission Check Program (vehicle Inspection and Maintenance program). Files are generally updated every year.
